With the recent dualling of the A428 just to the north of the airfield it is now a little more difficult to find us. Coming from Cambridge, or from Junction 13 of the M11, continue along the A428 towards Bedford and then take the slip road signposted Hardwick and Toft.

At the first roundabout take the road signposted to Bourn and Bourn Airfield. At the next roundabout IGNORE THE SIGN FOR BOURN AIRFIELD and take the exit signposted to Bourn. Continue along that road and turn left again signposted Bourn.

This road is called the Broadway, continue for about half a mile until you see an orange motorcycle tied to a telegraph pole on your left hand side. Turn left there into the airfield entrance. Having passed through the gate you should see a green Nissan hut on your right, continue bearing to the right past the self storage and park at the no entry sign by the fence and continue on foot to the small control tower.

If coming from the Bedford or St Neots direction proceed along the A428 and take the slip road to Cambourne. At the roundabout at he top of the slip road take the first exit signposted Bourn then turn right into the Broadway and then as above.

The address for the Rural Flying Corps is Bourn Airfield, Cambridgeshire, CB23 2TQ but do not rely on Sat Nav using the postcode which is only very approximate. See the maps below for the detail of how to reach the club.

Note that the flying club is closed on ALL bank holidays (there is a market on the airfield)

When driving on to the airfield, it is important to obey all "No Entry" signs for the safety of both cars and aircraft.
