Visiting Bourn

By Air

As of April 2010 Bourn is no longer a licensed airfield therefore there will no longer be a new AIP entry.

NOTE THAT THE MAIN RUNWAYS ARE NO LONGER IN USE.

THERE IS A NEW RUNWAY 36 RH / 18 LH on the old taxiway, with a grass extension to the North (approx 600m total)

Circuits / Noise Abatement

Avoid overflying all local villages and farmhouses, especially Cambourne and Bourn villages.

Downwind for 36/18 should be flown between the villages of Highfields and Hardwick to the east. Avoid overflying Toft village.

Gliders!

Be aware that gliders may be active at any time from Gransden Lodge to the south-west of the airfield.

See : http://www.camgliding.uk
